Regional Partnership (title)

This is a very important project for all participants. Not only is it a significant step forward in terms of improvements in communications technology for all, but it is a shared enterprise, signalling the universities' willingness to work together as partners in the regional context.

The project uses, state-of-the-art networking technology, to include Northumbria's Coach Lane Campus, the Freeman Hospital, a Newcastle University Hall of Residence, and the University of Durham, Queen's Campus (Stockton). All 23 FE and 6th-form colleges in the region are connected, along with Ushaw College.
