The present network interconnects the University sites across the
region with a resilient, diversely-routed high-speed network from

across the region. This will enable the region's Universities fully
to participate in the upcoming developments in GRID computing and

Most of the colleges are connected via a 10Mbit/s service, and we are
actively investigating development paths for this service.
